On engines with the carburettor the temperature regulator maintains temperature of air arriving in the air filter, within 25–35 With.

Заслонка in a branch pipe of submitted air provides giving of hot or cold air. Заслонка copes a vacuum diaphragm, whiling away reacts to vacuum in an inlet collector. Vacuum receipt to заслонке is regulated by the thermovalve located in the case of the air filter.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. To begin temperature regulator check it is necessary on the cold engine. At the switched off engine заслонка a temperature regulator should be completely closed. To define position заслонки it is possible both from outside the filter, and from outside an air inlet.
2. To start the engine and to check up that заслонка completely opens idling, opening giving of air warmed up by a final collector in the air filter.
3. In a case if after engine start заслонка a temperature regulator remains closed, it is necessary to check up a temperature regulator and a membrane.
