THE GENERAL DATA

At excessive deterioration it is necessary to replace camshaft bearings. As for installation of new bearings special tools are required, for performance of this work it is necessary to address on specialised servicing deport.

Camshaft wear tracks can be found out on necks of bearings or working ledges of cams. Teases on necks or damage of necks of bearings cannot be eliminated repolishing, in this case it is necessary to replace a cam-shaft.

On the top points of working ledges of cams roughnesses or traces выкрашивания can be found out. Small roughnesses can be eliminated thin grinding or processing by an emery paper.

It is necessary to notice that the surface of working ledges of cams is tempered, therefore after infringement of integrity of the tempered layer wear process will occur very quickly.
