6.2.6. The mechanism of a pedal of coupling

The clamp of the automatic mechanism can be blocked on gear sector of a pedal of coupling, especially in the presence of considerable deterioration. There will be no in this case a cable free wheeling that will lead to proslipping of coupling and considerably will accelerate deterioration of overlays. For mechanism check it is necessary to open a cowl and sharply to extend a cover of a cable from a partition that will lead to a tension of a cable and поворачиванию a gear segment. At normal work of the mechanism clicks from a latch moving on a gear segment are audible, and at release covers of a cable the mechanism occupies a starting position. In case of latch jamming to extend a cover of a cable from a partition it is impossible.

If there was a jamming, to remove a coupling cable is problematic.

The first variant of removal of a cable: to make effort the switching off lever for a cable detachment.

With the second – to cut a cable, however it is necessary to remember that the switching off lever will come back at once back.

Вытягивание a cable from a forward partition sometimes leads to jamming elimination, however it is desirable to replace the mechanism with the new in this case.
