3.5.5.3. Check and repair of a head of the block of cylinders

THE GENERAL DATA

These procedures are carried out after removal of a head of the block of cylinders.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove the pump of a cooling liquid, a final collector, vortical chambers of combustion and a thermoswitch of a control bulb of an overheat of the engine.

2. By means of the adaptation for compression of springs of valves to remove crackers of fastening of the top persistent plates of springs and to remove springs of valves.

3. To take the valve, and to designate, in what cylinder they worked.

4. To wash up in gasoline or diesel fuel of a spring of valves, paying attention to to damaging their sheeting.

5. By means of a soft wire brush carefully to clear final channels in a head of the block of cylinders, external surfaces of directing valves and the valve.

The prevention
It is impossible to use adaptations which can scratch cleared details.

6. To clear and carefully to blow compressed air all details.

7. By means of a ruler to check up planeness of the bottom plane of a head of the block of cylinders: lengthways, across and on a diagonal. In the course of check not опирать a ruler on combustion chambers (can slightly act from a head of the block of cylinders).

8. In case of need to replace directing valves and to check up position directing after their installation.

9. After installation in a head of the block of cylinders рассверлить till the corresponding sizes internal diameter of directing valves.

10. To grind in the valve by means of fine-grained paste for grinding in.

11. Carefully to wash up a head of the block of cylinders and the valve for removal of particles of paste.

12. To check up a condition of working surfaces of nests of valves.

13. To check up прилегание valves to their nests, turning the valve on 1/8 turns at their easy pressing to a nest.

14. To measure заглубление valves concerning the bottom plane of a head of the block of cylinders.

15. To check up a condition of the taken chambers of combustion.

16. After installation of chambers of combustion in a head of the block of cylinders by means of the indicator of hour type to check up them выступание (0–0,03 mm) from the bottom plane of a head of the block of cylinders.

17. To collect a head of the block of cylinders, having executed actions in return sequence in relation to described above.
